It is mainly composed of D-glucose,D-mannose,D-glucuronic acid and acetyl. Xanthan Gum could be widely used in food, personal care, oil drilling, agriculture, fine chemical and pharmaceutical industries. In the food industry , Xantham Gum FCC kosher in used as a thickening agent and stabilizer in food products like salad dressings, frozen foods, canned foods, cheeses, baked foods, pickled foods and even pet and fish feed. It is also used in the personal care industry as a humectant and thickening agent in products like cosmetics, tooth paste, creams and lotions and shampoos.
