Applications
Tris(2-hydroxyethyl) isocyanurate also known as THEIC is mainly used in the preparation of polyester heat-resistant insulating paint, can also be used in coatings, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals , plasticizers and organic synthesis intermediates. It is used in the coating industry for heat resistant wire enamels, electrical insulating, alkyd resins, urethanes, water-soluble enamels and polyesters.
