Sorbic Acid, Powder, FCC is used as a food preservative. It is used as an antimicrobial constituent in an artificial worm diet, a food preservative, a yeast/mold inhibitor, and a fungistatic agent. It is used as a preservative for tobacco, cosmetics, silk-screen inks, personal skin care products, and pharmaceuticals. It is also used in coatings, cold rubber, and drying oils. The FCC grade meets the requirements of the Food Chemical Codex indicates and is suitable for all food, beverage and nutritional supplement applications.
