Sodium stearate is a white solid which is most commonly used in soaps. Sodium Stearate is also used in a variety of other applications like as Flatting and sanding agents in lacquers, coatings & inks. It’s utilized in drying lubricants and dusting agents for rubbers. It’s used as Catalysts in chemical synthesis, emulsifiers for emulsion polymerization of synthetic rubber, and resin. It’s also used as waterproofing additives and ointments.
