Applications

Sodium benzoate FCC/USP is used as a precursor, preservative and antioxidant in foodstuff, cosmetics, mouthwashes, water-based paint, and pharmaceutical products. It is also employed as a flavoring agent, in food items, clinical reagents, diagnostic aid, and as a corrosion inhibitor in engine cooling structures.USP, or United States Pharmacopeia, grade chemicals comply with the standards of the United States Pharmacopeia .FCC grade meets the requirements of the Food Chemical Codex indicates and is suitable for all food, beverage and nutritional supplement applications.
