Sodium Ascorbate FCC USP is used mainly in Additive and Acidity Regulator Additive in Food & Beverages, Pharmaceutical & Medicinal Additive, Dietary Supplements, and Bread Mixes as part of the dough conditioner system. In frostings used as antioxidant and preservative. USP–NF is a combination of two compendia, the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and the National Formulary (NF).
