Applications
Salicylic Acid USP is used in pharmaceutical industries as well as its used in a great number of cosmetic applications for acne and oily skin as a chemical exfoliant. It works as a keratolytic and comedolytic agent. It is in many skin care products and dandruff shampoos. It is also used as an intermediate in the production of agrochemical products, dyes, and colorants, as well as in the rubber industry and in the manufacture of phenolic resins.
