Nonylphenol Ethoxylate also known as NP-9 is mainly used in industrial applications as an emulsifier, washing agent, detergent, wetting agent, penetrating agent, dispersing agent, degreasing agent, refining agent and chemical intermediate. It is a nonionic surfactant. It is used in paper/textile and leather processing, adhesives, dust control, industrial cleaners, automotive latex paints, metal working fluids and agriculture chemicals. It is also used in detergent production, antioxidants, emulsifiers, solubilizers, and lubricant oil additives.
