Applications
Monosodium Phosphate Anhydrous also known as Sodium Dihydrogen Phosphate and Monosodium Dihydrogen Orthophosphate, is a high buffering capacity reagent, also has the sequestrant, emulsifier and mordant properties. It is used to control pH and in industrials applications, it is used as a fireproofing agent, buffering agent, supplement for animal feed. It is employed to prepare different buffer solutions, detergents, ceramics, enamels, and boiler products. It is also used in brazing/soldering, to treat boiler water/wastewater, and to acidify urine. Monosodium Phosphate Food Grade is mainly used as used as a buffer and acidity regulator in food, as a Leavening acid in baking powder and a binder and curing agent for bread and sauce. It’s used as a pH buffer, stabilizer, and emulsifier in processed cheese, condensed milk, instant pudding, and other food applications.
