It is common industrial chemical used as a degreaser and in kerosene burning heaters, lanterns and stoves. Deodorized kerosene is a particularly good chain lubricant cleaner prior to reapplying lubricant. Deodorized Kerosene is ideal for dilution of oils and other organic fluids for determination of metal traces. It is used in paints & coatings, consumer products, printing inks and agricultural chemical applications. It is also used in food contact applications such as aluminum rolling.
