It is also used as an industrial cleaner for cleaning in pharmaceutical labs, hospitals, and other medical locations. It is also used in the beauty industry to clean and disinfect nails in fake nail application. It is used as a reagent for analyze detection and as a solvent and extracting in labs. It is used for fuel pipelines as a deicing agent and gasoline additive. It is used to prepare scrubbing liquid, hand and body lotion, preservatives, and as a pharmaceutical reddening agent.
