Glycol Ether EB is a colorless liquid that works as an excellent solvent used in wax strippers, cleaners, degreasers, inks, water based paints, coatings, varnishes, enamels, and lacquers. It is used as a solvent for coatings resins like alkyd, phenolic, maleic, epoxy, and nitrocellulose resins. It acts as an ingredient in antimicrobial agents, adhesives, stabilizers, defoamers, drilling stabilizers, oil slick dispersants, and water- and oil-based fracturing fluids. Glycol Ether EB is an important component in household and industrial cleaners, enhancing wetting and cleaning ability. It’s used in a variety of Pharmaceuticals, sunscreens, cosmetics, inks, dyes and household & industrial cleaners.
