Ferric Ammonium Oxolate is used in the preparation of Langmuir-Blodgett magnetic thin films. It is also involved in the production of blueprint paper. Its also used As a precipitant of calcium and magnesium. Ferric Ammonium Oxalate is used in the electroplating industry for the chemical absorption on anodized aluminum, producing a range of gold colors from light champagne hues to dark gold finishes.
