Applications

Ascorbic Acid USP/FCC is used in the Food and beverage industry as a preservative, antioxidant, and flavoring agent in various products such as fruit juices, soft drinks, and breakfast cereals. It is also used in Skincare and cosmetics as an active ingredient in anti-aging products and to brighten and even out skin tone. It is used in Water treatment as a reducing agent to remove chlorine and other chemicals from water. Ascorbic Acid can also be used in Photography: as a developing agent in film and photography. It is used in Horticulture as a plant growth enhancer and to protect plants from environmental stress. Ascorbic Acid is also used in cleaning products as a stain remover. It is also used to remove rust from metal surfaces.
